Bijou Build Swing Arm Adaptor Kit for Mainstay

Turn your Bijou Build Mainstay into an expandable backyard swing set with the Swing Arm Adaptor Kit. Designed specifically to connect to an existing Mainstay, this patented system adds four hanging points for up to two compatible swings while maintaining the collapsible, space-conscious design of the Bijou system.

Solid-steel brackets, a hinged A-frame design, stability crossbar, anchor feet, and ground stakes create the structural extension. When playtime is over, the Swing Arm can be partially disassembled, folded, and secured with the included storage straps.

Important — Mainstay & Swings Not Included

This is an expansion kit for an existing Bijou Build Mainstay. The Bijou Mainstay is NOT included.

Swings are also NOT included. The kit provides four hanging points and the necessary hanging hardware for up to two compatible swings, allowing you to select the swing styles separately.

Lumber Required

Structural lumber is required to complete the Swing Arm and is not included with this kit.

You will need:

• 2 × 8 ft. pressure-treated 2x4s
• 1 × 10 ft. pressure-treated 2x4
• 1 × 10 ft. pressure-treated 2x6

Dimensions & Clearance

When installed, the Mainstay + Swing Arm measures approximately 16.5 ft. × 7.5 ft.

Additional clear space is required around the swing area, particularly in front of and behind the swings. Select an installation location that provides adequate clearance and follow all Bijou Build placement, anchoring, and safety instructions.

Weight & Age Guidelines

• Swing Arm combined weight capacity: up to 250 lbs.
• Recommended for ages 3+

Assembly & Storage

Adult assembly is required. Bijou estimates approximately one hour for assembly with two adults. Actual assembly time may vary.

For storage, the frame can be folded after removing the specified wood screws and secured using the included straps.
