Created through a collaboration between Kohler and Remedy Place founder Dr. Jonathan Leary, the KOHLER x Remedy Place Ice Bath combines precision temperature control, ergonomic design, integrated water care, and smart functionality in a refined freestanding wellness bath designed for residential use.
With a temperature range from 39°F to 104°F, the Ice Bath transitions from cold-water immersion to a warm soak within a single integrated system. Its spacious interior, angled backrest, cushioned headrest, and thoughtfully positioned grab areas provide a comfortable environment for seated full-body immersion.
Designed for indoor or outdoor installation, the Ice Bath incorporates its chiller, filtration, UV water treatment, controls, lighting, and filling system into one freestanding design.
Temperature Control
Select water temperatures from approximately 39°F to 104°F, allowing the same bath to be used for cold immersion or warm-water relaxation.
Settings can be managed from the concealed onboard control panel, while compatible Kohler smart functionality provides additional session features.
Kohler notes that extreme outdoor ambient temperatures—particularly conditions above approximately 105°F or below 10°F—can affect the system's ability to reach its temperature limits.

Installation & Placement
The Ice Bath may be installed indoors or outdoors and can either connect to a home's water supply or be filled using an outdoor hose.
For indoor installations connected to the home's water supply, Kohler specifies additional plumbing requirements that should be reviewed with the installation instructions and applicable local plumbing codes.
The electrical system requires a dedicated 120V, 20A GFCI-protected circuit. Kohler advises against using an extension cord.
Ventilation & Clearance
This is particularly important and was missing from Saksby's sales copy.
Kohler specifies substantial clearance around the unit for ventilation and service access—approximately 3–4 feet on most sides and 2–3 feet at the headrest side.
The installation surface should be level and suitable for repeated exposure to water and condensation.
Care & Maintenance
For normal residential use, Kohler recommends:
- Continuous filtration
- Filter replacement approximately monthly or as needed
- Water replacement approximately every one to two months or as needed
- Following Kohler's approved cleaning and maintenance procedures
Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, chlorine bleach, ammonia, alcohol, strong alkaline solutions, metallic scouring pads, and brushes that could damage the product and affect warranty coverage.
