Bring the traditional sauna experience outdoors with the KOHLER C2 Outdoor Sauna, an architecturally designed freestanding sauna created for year-round backyard wellness. Crafted with a Douglas Fir exterior and Scandinavian Spruce interior, the C2 combines natural materials, substantial insulation and carefully engineered ventilation with the clean, refined design expected from KOHLER.
Available in 3-, 5- and 6-person configurations, the C2 provides a dedicated outdoor retreat for individual sessions or shared relaxation.
Traditional Sauna Experience
The C2 uses a FERO electric sauna heater with sauna stones to create traditional sauna heat. Unlike an infrared sauna, the C2 heats the sauna environment using a conventional electric heater and stones.
An external digital control panel provides convenient control of temperature, session time and lighting, while dual thermostatic controls help maintain consistent operating conditions.
Designed for Outdoor Living
The exterior is clad in Douglas Fir, while extended roof eaves provide additional protection from the elements. A durable EPDM roof membrane, insulated wall construction and weather-conscious detailing make the C2 specifically suited to outdoor installation.
The sauna's 2.1-inch mineral-wool insulation, rubber seals and tempered-glass elements help retain heat while maintaining the contemporary architectural appearance.
Scandinavian Spruce Interior
Inside, Scandinavian Spruce creates the warm, natural character of a traditional sauna. An Obeche wood bench and backrest provide comfortable seating, while wood components are selected with sauna conditions in mind.
Warm 2700K indirect lighting adds subtle illumination without overpowering the natural wood interior.
Aerotherm Ventilation
KOHLER's Aerotherm ventilation system is engineered to continuously exchange air within the sauna, supporting fresh airflow and comfortable conditions throughout each session.
Thoughtful Controls & Security
The exterior digital control panel allows convenient management of sauna settings without entering the cabin. A protective locking cover helps shield the controls when the sauna is not being used.
Additional details include cool-touch wood door handles, a lockable front door and dual thermostatic controls.

Installation & Site Preparation
The C2 is a substantial freestanding outdoor structure and requires appropriate site preparation. KOHLER recommends reviewing its C2 Outdoor Sauna Readiness Guide before delivery and installation.
The installation location should provide a stable, level supporting surface, adequate drainage, required electrical service and sufficient access for delivery and assembly.
Because specifications vary between the 3-, 5- and 6-person models, electrical service and site requirements should be confirmed for the exact model purchased before installation begins.
Professional installation is recommended.
Care & Maintenance
Natural wood will change in appearance as it ages and is exposed to outdoor conditions. Follow KOHLER's recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures for the exterior wood, interior surfaces, glass, heater and sauna stones.
Avoid cleaners or treatments not approved for sauna materials.
