Bring the traditional sauna experience home with the KOHLER C1 Scandinavian Spruce Indoor Sauna, a premium indoor sauna designed to integrate beautifully into a home gym, wellness room, bathroom suite or other appropriately prepared interior space.
Crafted with Scandinavian Spruce interior and exterior walls, the C1 combines natural materials with substantial insulation, traditional electric sauna heat and carefully engineered ventilation. Available in configurations for 2, 3 or 5 people, the C1 can be installed freestanding or incorporated into an alcove, making it adaptable to a variety of residential spaces.
Traditional Sauna Heat
The C1 uses a freestanding FERO electric sauna heater with sauna stones to provide a traditional sauna bathing experience.
The heater size varies by sauna configuration, so we should not repeat Saksby's blanket “9kW” statement across every variant. For example, KOHLER specifies the 9.0 kW FERO heater for the five-person C1.
Dual thermostatic controls support consistent operation, while an externally mounted digital control panel provides convenient control over temperature, session time and backrest lighting.
Scandinavian Spruce Construction
Scandinavian Spruce gives both the interior and exterior of this C1 collection its warm, light natural appearance.
Tongue-and-groove construction creates a refined finished appearance, while 2-1/8-inch mineral-wool insulation, a tempered-glass entry door and rubber door seal help retain heat within the cabin.
Obeche Seating
Solid Obeche wood seating and backrests provide a comfortable interior while complementing the Scandinavian Spruce cabin.
Depending on the selected configuration, the sauna also includes coordinating comfort accessories such as a headrest and stool.
Aerotherm Ventilation
KOHLER's Aerotherm ventilation system is engineered to provide appropriate oxygen supply and air exchange inside the sauna cabin during operation.
Warm Interior Lighting
Integrated 2700K warm-white indirect lighting gently illuminates the cabin and creates a comfortable environment without overwhelming the natural wood interior.
The external digital control panel allows the user to manage the backrest lighting along with temperature and session time.

Indoor Installation
The KOHLER C1 is designed for indoor installation only.
It can be installed either freestanding or in an alcove/built-in configuration. KOHLER calls for at least 2 inches of clearance from site walls and a minimum 8-foot ceiling height; alcove installations have additional ventilation requirements.
The installation area must also have appropriate electrical service, ventilation and structural capacity. KOHLER specifies a floor-load requirement of approximately 58.9 lb./sq. ft. and recommends professional installation. At least two people are required for installation.

Care & Maintenance
Follow KOHLER's current care and operating instructions for the Scandinavian Spruce surfaces, Obeche seating, glass, heater and sauna stones. Natural wood may change in appearance with age and use.
